SNAC:  Social Night at the Art Center!

This is our chance to kick back in a low-pressure atmosphere, meet new friends, learn some new skills and let our creativity run wild!  Talented local artists lead the group in "No Experience Necessary" projects, from canvas painting to ceramics, and send participants home with their very own creation.  Cost generally runs $20-$40.  Festivities start at 6:30pm, with all supplies and light appetizers provided.  Bring your own beverages...and bring your friends!

Projects vary month to month, and space is limited so please let us know if you plan to attend.  Register here or call us at 406.535.8278 for more information!

Join us for a lively, low-pressure night of practicing our observation skills - absolutely no experience necessary! We'll play fun games and experiment with different poses as we learn basic pencil and charcoal drawing techniques; participants are encouraged to develop their own style of sketching what they see!
Cost of the class is $35 ($30 for LAC members!) and includes all materials and instruction, appetizers and a free drink. Space is limited; register here or call 535.8278 for more information. Bring along your favorite beverages and an open mind...we can't wait to see you there!

Classes fill up quickly so be sure to register early and reserve your space!!

**LAC Members receive discounts on select events!  Join today and discover the many other perks of being part of the Lewistown Art Center family!**

We're always looking for new project ideas and instructors!  What do you want to see more of?  What are you interested in learning?  We want to hear your suggestions...and if you'd like to share your own creative talent with a fun-loving group of friends and neighbors, please let us know!

Drop-in Clay Club

Running February through mid-May, Thursday evenings in the Ken Edwards Ceramic Studio are reserved for a drop in “Clay Club” from 6:30-9pm!

This is a low-stakes way to experiment with clay, and meet new friends! Our staff will be around for some instruction and helpful hints. This isn’t a “class,” but rather a space for independent making and play!

This is a Clay Club for all skill levels and experiences; try handbuilding, moldmaking, or throwing on the wheel. The Lewistown Art Center is currently able to offer free clay and firings to its members, but this won’t last long! Come get dirty and try some new materials!

Bring your beverage of choice, a friend, and a good attitude, this’ll be fun! Clay Club is $10 per night for non-members, and $7 for members. No need to RSVP, we can’t wait to see you!
