SALUTE TO GLEN CAMPBELL - SAT., SEPT. 28, 2019 - 7:30 PM
Glen was as big a star as an artist could be in the 60s and 70s. His TV and movie career earned him every possible award and his boyish good looks made him America’s sweetheart too. He was an incredible combination of singer, player and entertainer, one that has known few equals. Since his passing, Jeff has been deeply grateful to carry the music forward. Dayton’s powerful voice and national-caliber guitar skills bring Glen’s hit catalog to life again. He shares the adventures from the road, in the studio and behind the songs in this first-person show. Along with top national musicians and fellow Campbell alumni, audiences get an intimate look inside the career of this late Hall of Fame artist. People laugh, cheer, cry and rave about the stories especially. This is the only show anywhere that is presented as Glen would have done by his former musicians and is as much like hearing Glen live as you can get today.
TAJCI - WAKING UP IN AMERICA - WED., OCT. 23, 2019 - 7:30 PM
“Waking Up in America (Those Were the Days)” features award-winning artist Tatiana “Tajci” Cameron; her sister, Los Angeles-based actress/singer Sanya Mateyas; and keyboardist extraordinaire Brian Hanson. This dynamic trio delivers show-stopping entertainment.
Tatiana “Tajci” Cameron is an award-winning music artist and former Eurovision Song Contest finalist who was a pop superstar by the time she was 19. A native of Croatia (formerly Yugoslavia), she achieved platinum status while selling more than a million records and packing sold-out venues for many of her performances.
As a teen sensation and in to her 20s, Tajci graced the covers of many magazines and other publications, and landed major endorsement deals with the likes of Levi’s. A “Tajcidoll,” made in her likeness and emblematic of her enduring appeal, remains a treasured collector’s item among her many devoted fans around the world.
TIMOTHY CHOOI - VIOLINIST - SAT., FEB. 22, 2020 - 7:30 PM
Juilliard trained violinist Timothy Chooi is the First Prize Winner of the 2018 Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition in Hannover, Germany. He most recently also won the 1st Prize of the Schadt Violin Competition in the United States of America.
2018-19 season highlights included performances with the National Arts Centre Orchestra (Canada) with Pinchas Zukerman conducting. His program will include beloved works such as Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise, Fritz Kreisler’s Liebeslied, Aram Khachaturian’s famous Sabre Dance and John William’s theme from the move Schindler’s List.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE DUO - TUES., MAR. 24, 2020 - 7:30 PM
Double-Double Duo is about much more than coffee; each duo member is a ‘double threat’ on two instruments: Kornel Wolak (clarinet / piano) and Michael Bridge (accordions / piano).
Classically trained international soloists, they use comedy, virtuosity, and musical sensitivity to bring their broad repertoire to life. Actively touring in Europe, South America, and across Canada, and now the U.S., DDD performs their all - original arrangements of classical showpieces, sensitive jazz ballades, and fiery folk music from around the globe.
FRANK VIGNOLA’S HOT JAZZ GUITAR TRIO - SAT., MAY 2, 2020 - 7:30 PM
A trio of standup bass, rhythm guitar and lead guitar features one of America’s great guitarists in the prime of his life, Frank Vignola. Frank has become legendary in modern music circles. His stunning virtuosity has made him the guitarist of choice for many of the world’s top musicians, including Ringo Starr, Madonna, Donald Fagen, Wynton Marsalis, Tommy Emmanuel, and Mark O Connor. Les Paul named Frank to his “Five Most Admired Guitarists List” for The Wall Street Journal, and he has played with orchestras such as The Boston Pops and The New York Pops.
A concert by Frank Vignola’s Trio will amaze and entertain concert goers with great songs, off the chart musicianship, and lots of laughs and audience interaction. There is even a “Requests” segment where the audience can attempt to stump the band. A show not to be missed.
